Dolphy, Philippine comedien and national treasure who turned 80 this year, has a new movie coming out at the Manila Film Festival in late December: “The movie revolves around Juan (Dolphy), a retiree who lives in a nursing home in the US. The facility is owned by his son, played by Eric, and his son’s wife (G Toengi). He misses life in the Philippines and longs to see his first love in the Philippines. One day, while watching “Wowowee” (a senseless Philippine noon time show – T.B.) he sees his former friends.”, writes Malaya.

Another early preview is in the Manila Bulletin.
