"Juday" and husband

The many links to the Philippine Daily Inquirer in this blog might lead the reader to believe that its Entertainment section is full of well-researched pieces on local independent cinema and the international reception of Philippine films. While they are certainly capable of things like this, especially their writers Ruben Nepales and Bayani San Diego Jr., the majority of the articles are more along the lines of trifle such as this: “Zsazsa Padilla likes to arrange the money on (sic!) her wallet according to denomination—from big to small bills. ”

And, since we are at it, Judy Ann Santos, the most popular actress in the Philippines next to Kris Aquino, got married to her long-time boyfriend, whose name I cannot recall right now, in a surprise wedding. Not that anybody outside the Philippines would care…
